Courtesy Posting: X URGENT- HUMBOLDT, AZ (between PHOENIX AND FLAGSTAFF)- BEAUTIFUL, PETITE, FEMALE CHOW 'HONEY' IN NEED OF A LOVING, RESPONSIBLE HOME IDEALLY W/ CHOW EXPERIENCE- DOG, PEOPLE and KID FRIENDLY, NO ISSUES. OWNER UNFORTUNATELY CANNOT KEEP DUE TO LOSING HOME AND NEEDS PLACEMENT ASAP (please no negative comments, owner is at least asking for help to rehome) Please help us find a loving, responsible home for Honey who has lived with her owner since a young puppy. The owner is losing her home and has nowhere for her or the other chow and chow mixes in the home to go. Honey is now approximately 4 years old, is spayed and weighs 40 lbs according to her owner who also told us 'She is good with people, dogs and kids, she likes to chase cats but have never harmed one'. Honey's owner also said, 'She has never bitten or cause harm to anyone or anything. She is potty trained. She has a dog door so she is free to come inside and outside as she pleases but she prefers to go outside during the day and inside at night. No known issues. She is smart and can open most doors. She is current on rabies and she is spayed.' If you are interested in meeting and adopting Honey, or may consider fostering her for a local rescue, please contact robinmorgan@cox.net or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is assisting the owner with her and the other dogs' placements. We have separate posts up for the other chows who may be adopted separately. Chow or dog experience is preferred. If you have another dog or pet, a meet and greet is strongly advised. Sorry, we do not do transport to private homes unless a rescue is involved due to risks of a home or dog not working out for any reason. All adopters will be asked for a home check (which may be virtual), an application, a vet reference and an adoption contract. We will be posting more pictures and videos of Honey on facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/debbie.alder.14/posts/pfbid03WLhWfDHhYgCKU2edfa32NgDQwyYvzDxpGvkFSn7EXwU87ZnuqoKjYwMkdzExEFol Note: to view contents of link you will need to copy and paste it into your browser.
