Please note that because all our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance from Downingtown, PA for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in-person home visit. Meet Raven! Raven is a 4-year-old, 55lb., Pitbull who was found on the streets of Philadelphia and brought to a shelter. It was obvious she had had a lot of babies, and it was time for a new beginning. Raven was spayed and had two large cysts removed from her hip. She has good vision and hearing and is fully potty trained. Raven gets along well with cats and kids of all ages. She is still deciding if she likes other dogs and might prefer to be the only dog in the house. She can also be a little shy around men and would enjoy having a female owner. Raven walks well on a leash, can handle stairs, and sleeps in a dog bed. She loves to cuddle, and is comfortable being picked up. Raven is also fiercely loyal and enjoys being the family protector. Raven is a happy girl who loves getting attention. She likes to take the time to stop and smell the flowers and would enjoy a yard to run around in. Raven thinks every person she meets is her new best friend and will make you smile every day. She loves toys, treats, and napping on the couch.
