About Jasper

Meet Jasper: A Senior Sweetheart Looking for His Forever Home! Jasper's journey has had its ups and downs. He first caught our attention in January when he was adopted, but sadly, just a few weeks later, he was returned to the shelter because the other dogs in the home were bullying him. We couldn't let this sweet boy stay there, so we scooped him up and placed him in a loving foster home! Jasper has a low grade heart murmur that does not require medication. He was seen by a cardiologist and had a echo! Cardiologist diagnosed with mild mitral valve disease and most likely won't require medication for4-6 years. Like many seniors, he has arthritis, but a little anti-inflammatory medication helps keep him comfortable and mobile. Despite everything, Jasper's heart is full of love. He is the kindest, most affectionate boy who just wants to be close to his people-if he could be carried around in a baby Bjorn all day, he would! He adores pets, cuddles, and companionship. He also gets along well with both dogs and cats. Now, Jasper just needs a family to call his own. He may be a senior, but he has so much love left to give.
