About Sable

Sable-Black Lab X female puppy, ~7 mo.(March 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application Sable came to rescue recently after being evaluated to be a Service Dog, after being abandon by her owner (along with her siblings). She's been through a Prison Training program and has learned so much. Sable has been deemed for a pet/companion home, versus a working dog. The trainer says she has a sweet temperament She is housetrained and crate trained, having lived in an apartment at the prison, with her inmate trainer. She's had basic obedience. She learned about grooming and good husbandry skills. Sable is good with other dogs. She is house and crate trained. She has not met cats, but doesn't have the personality to bother them. She has not lived with children due to being in the Prison Program but with her great personality, seems to have alot of potential as a family dog. She will be a medium/large girl, when all grown up and will enjoy an active life. Sable's adoption fee is $450 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
