About Cody

Cody is everything you expect to find in an Aussie. He is loving, playful and always ready for fun. He plays fetch and gets truly excited when we went to the dog park. He played with everyone, big and small. He is great with kids and used to play with the neighbor's children, ages 3-9. Unfortunately, due to recent health complications, I was no longer able to keep up with him and give him the exercise and attention he needs. He is currently living at the Surface Creek Animal Shelter in Cedaredge, Colorado. He goes regularly for walks with them, but really needs to have a loving and forever home where he can go, once again, to the mountains and local parks. I had him started on working off leash, using the commands 'Far Enough' if he got too far ahead and 'This Way' if he chose the wrong path to follow. He has been at the shelter for 3 months now and I truly want to find him a good home ASAP. Although not registered, he is full blooded, as I went to Phoenix and checked out both of his parents and saw his litter mates. They were all tri's and merles. He was the only black in the litter.
