Courtesy Post: Meet Norma Jean - A Sweet Senior Soul in Need of a Forever Home Norma Jean has been through so much and now she needs a place to finally call home. Her journey started in heartbreak-her owner, Norman, passed away, and his kids left her abandoned in the home for months with no food, water, or love. She was his best friend, and he would have never wanted this for her. A kind neighbor finally noticed her in the window one morning, and she was rescued just in time. We aren't exactly sure how old she is. Vets estimated around 8-10 years! Since then, she has been staying with someone who can't keep her long-term, and we desperately need to find her a loving home before she ends up in a shelter. Norma Jean is the silkiest, sweetest girl ever. She's a little anxious (who wouldn't be after all she's been through?) and takes anxiety meds to help. She may have some dental issues in the future, so she needs an owner who can give her the care she deserves. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and FELV/FIV negative.
