About Max

Max -1 yr old Old English Sheepdog -Neutered & UTD on vet care, vaccine & preventatives -Good with other dogs **No cats or small dogs at this time -Kids 12+ yrs old -Housebroken & crate trained **Breed and/or hardship rescue experience are most favorable **Will need continued work on manners and basic training **NO apartments, condos, townhomes (any shared wall homes). Freestanding homes only. Max is a vocal guy. Location Nashville TN area. We adopt nationwide Meet Max - The Big-Hearted, Bigger-Personality Sheepdog! If you're looking for a dog who would happily chat with you all day, Max is your guy! This 1-year-old Old English Sheepdog is not just a companion-he's a full-on entertainer. He's sweet, social, and 100% convinced that every human he meets is his new best friend. Max is always up for a chat and will gladly tell you all about his day (whether you understand him or not!). With a heart as big as his fluffy coat, Max adores snuggling and will hilariously attempt to fit his whole self onto your lap. He's an enthusiastic player who loves romping with resident OES foster sister and other big dogs, but his larger-than-life play style makes him a bit too much for small dogs, cats, and little kids. He could be just as happy as an only dog where he can soak up all the attention -so if you're looking for a devoted, goofy, and affectionate only dog, Max is ready to step up! Car rides? He's in. Crate time? No problem. Manners? Well'| we're still working on those! Max is learning the ropes and will need continued training to channel all that excitement into polite behavior. Because he can be vocal and full of energy, he'll need a free-standing home where he can express himself without bothering the neighbors. If you're ready for a best friend who's equal parts comedy, conversation, and cuddles-Max is waiting to meet you! Max is neutered and UTD on vet care, vaccines and preventatives. He is currently being fostered in the Nashville TN area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.
