About Red

Red is a 18 month old beautiful Red Kelpie. Red is currently being fostered in Carroll County, AR. He is vaccinated, microchipped, has been given tick, flea,and heartworm prevention medication. Red's foster family reports that he is 100% housetrained, is well-behaved in the home, gets along great with other dogs. Red listens and responds to commands and stays on his own doggie bed through the night. Although Red is mellow in the home, he is ready to go once his leash appears. He walks great on a leash and does well on off-leash trails. Red rides well in the car and fetch the tennis ball is his favorite game. Because Kelpies have a natural instinct to herd, it is recommended that he is introduced to children slowly. Although Red has adapted well to home life, his foster family thinks he would also do well as a working dog. Red's adoption fees have been waived.
