NOW IN NEED OF A LOVING, RESPONSIBLE HOME, HE IS PEOPLE, KID AND DOG FRIENDLY! Please help us find a loving, responsible home for adorable Teddy after he was found roaming at a school, and taken to a high kill shelter. When he ended up on the euthanasia list, the original finder offered to foster him on his final day in hopes of finding a permanent home. However, this Good Samaritan has several dogs of her own and young kids, who he does well with, but she is unable to keep him longer term. Teddy's affectionate and sweet personality now shines in a home and once out of a scary shelter environment where he was previously and understandably scared. We now have nice videos showing good interaction with both people and other dogs. His finder/foster also tells us, 'He has been friendly with all dogs he's met. He's shy around people but then warms up. Loves kids.' and added he is 'extremely affectionate, nuzzles and cuddles, gentle with treats, very good on a leash, doesn't pull. I have taken him to work, very good office dog. Absolutely loves running in the rain barks only when he should - if there's a stranger on the porch or if he hears strangers in the house. Teddy also gets along well with the female medium and large dogs in this home, and has been fine with male dogs he has met outside this home. However, if you have another pet, a meet and greet is always recommended. 'Teddy is already potty trained, chipped, vaccinated, and recently neutered. The shelter and vet estimated he is between 1-2 years old, and weighs 55 lbs, so he is perfect size and ready for a new family to love on.
