About Whisper

Meet Whisper! This sweet but very very shy girl was surrendered because her owners could not have her at their new place. She is a 10 month old Border Collie and is very petite at under 30 pounds. She will need a special home that is not hectic and loud so no young children. Whisper LOVES other dogs and feels more confident when she is around them. We will only adopt her to a home with at least one dog. Whisper is great with cats. We are unsure of how she was treated in her past but she will definitely need time to warm up. She is NOT NOT NOT aggressive in any way, shape, or form, she is just very timid and needs a person/ family who can understand that and give her her space and time. Whisper loves the security of her enclosed crate and that is where she will go to if she is frightened. She is not your 'let's go for a walk' type of dog, rather she likes to go in the backyard to potty and do zooms with her dog friends. She is not a dog to take out to events or festivals, she is comfortable in the home/yard and that's all she needs. The outside world terrifies her. Whisper will sleep in bed with you all night and is perfect in her crate when left alone. We prefer someone who will be at home more often than not due to her breed being active and needing stimulation. Whisper is still a puppy so keep that in mind. She is great with potty training, only had one accident since she has been here. Once she acclimates and comes out of her shell you will see what a fantastic and wonderfully sweet girl she is. Whisper is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Adoption fee and contract required.
