About Freeman

We don't know how Freeman, a precious 2.5 year old healthy German shepherd mix, has been overlooked! Freeman has been praised everywhere he goes for being such a quiet, well behaved and sweet dog especially given his background as a stray on the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter in CA. His foster parents absolutely adore him but his foster mom's ability to temporarily work from home came to an end and she wants him to find the best forever home with people who are physically more present for him since he is a companion dog! Freeman would be a great addition to any person or family, he's great with kids and other dogs of all shapes and sizes. He has not been tested with cats but his gentle nature and quick ability to adapt has us thinking the best! Freeman is the perfect mix of an active/lazy dog who doesn't require much to be happy. He loves to sleep but will happily accompany his humans on a hike, a car ride, or to the brewery to socialize. He loves the outdoors so he would do best with a backyard. He weighs 70 pounds, up to date on vaccines, and is house and potty trained. Adopt him, he couldn't be a better companion!
