About Bill

It is with very great sadness that I am looking for a very loving new home for our furry boy, Bill After recent testing we have found out that my husbands worsening asthma, which has deteriorated badly over the past 4 years - is actually due to an allergy to cats and dogs. We had absolutely no idea as we rescued Bill when he was 1 and he is now coming up for 10. He is presently living with my daughter but she has just got a new job which means she will be away from home 2 days a week so this is no longer suitable for bills needs as he hates to be alone. Bill needs a couple ideally, single would be considered, who are at home all day, and no children younger than 12. He absolutely won't live with other cats or dogs at all and so must be the only cat. He is incredibly loving and will want to be with you, ideally on your knee, for most of the day! He's also very chatty and will answer all enquiries with a meow He's in great health and is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He absolutely loves to snooze the day away but he still has time for his daily zoomies! He was an indoor cat for the first 6 years but when we moved to a very quiet area he did venture outside and was fine but I wouldn't recommend this until he has been settled in his new home for a significant amount of time and is fully settled. And also it must be an area away from roads as he has zero road sense. He has always been with us during the day and night as I've always worked from home. He just loves company and his prime motivation in life is to sit on your knee and be stroked! He couldn't be left alone all day, he would be miserable, so you must be retired or work from home, etc. He's fully litter trained and doesn't go anywhere else and he doesn't scratch any furniture/ curtains although he can't resist a coir doormat! He is exceptionally well behaved and would be an amazing addition to any home. He will come with his favourite two cat beds, some of his existing food, a meal guide, his vet records, and his covered litter tray
