About Rudy

Rudy is an 8 y/o neutered male who is very goofy and loves to run around with his favorite toys ( hedgie the hedgehog and lamby) He has plenty of energy but will also cuddle with you in bed, especially when it gets cold. He loves to snuggle under the covers, stick his head out of the sunroof or windows while in the car, eat corn on the cob, run around and smell all the smells when out. He knows sit, down, wait, touch and paw. He is very smart and will need some enrichment in the form of toys, sniff matts, or some sort of agility/space to run around in. A home with a yard would be ideal. He can be reactive to other dogs, bikes and runners on leash, but with no other distractions around walks very well and won't pull. When the weather gets stormy he experiences anxiety in the form of shaking and will want to be right beside you. He gets trazodone when it 's supposed to rain or storm. Rudy is dog selective and has resource guarding when it comes to food, toys. He does go to boarding and does well there. Having someone around the house with him would be helpful for his separation anxiety too. He is heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. He does well at the vet and enjoys seeing the doctors/techs. having lots of space to run will greatly affect his anxieties in a positive way. His favorite scratch areas are his ears, neck, and rear and will give a reassuring groan and the best smile when you hit the good spots. He will make you laugh so hard and give you so much love. With the right environment he will truly be such an amazing addition.
