About Sky

Sky is a 3-year-old, 8-pound Pomeranian with a soft white coat and a gentle spirit. Initially shy, she takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, she is sweet, laid-back, and eager to be part of the family. Every day, she is coming out of her shell a little more, showing her affectionate and loving personality. She is wonderful with kids, other dogs, and cats, making her an easy fit for a calm and patient home. Sky is quiet and reserved, and she needs an adopter who will allow her to blossom at her own pace with time and patience. Sky has luxating patellas, which is common in Pomeranians. They are not causing her any issues and just need to be monitored. She is also carrying a little extra weight and could benefit from losing a pound or so to keep her feeling her best. She is learning to go outside for potty breaks and needs continued practice on a harness and leash. With gentle guidance, she will continue gaining confidence in a loving home.
