This cute gal is Calypso, and Australian Cattle Dog mix who is around 2 years old. She is a petite girl weighing 35 pounds. Calypso is a smart girl and quickly learning. She knows her basic obedience commands. She is also house and crate trained, sleeping in her crate at night. Calypso is a typical Cattle Dog in that she is affectionate with her people but can be aloof around new people. In her foster home, she can often be found on her foster dad's lap, seeking cuddles. She would be fine as an only dog with one or two people, or even a home with a dog savvy teen. Calypso is dog friendly. She also lives with a cat and would be fine with a dog savvy cat in her new home. Calypso is ready for a family who likes adventure. She enjoys walks and hikes, plus loves to play in water. Calypso is also a funny girl. She loves being in the yard catching bugs and chasing lizards. She also engaged in silly antics when playing with her toys. This girl just needs a quiet, dog savvy home ready for the breed. Calypso is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in SoCal and ready to meet adopters who can come here to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
