Meet Sequoia, a big girl around 2 years old with a heart as expansive as her namesake. She is a possible Shepherd/Lab mix and weighs 56 pounds. Sequoia's earlier life was not the best as she was tied to a tree with little room to play. She hasn't let that dull her spirit at al, though, she is always smiling and happy to see you! Sequoia's loyalty is her most keen characteristic. She's a natural guard dog who is devoted to her home. What truly sets Sequoia apart is her impressive recall. She always comes when called and is eager to be praised. Sequoia loves spending time outside and having room to fetch, but she also enjoys a couch or dog bed and has great manners in the house. She is house and crate trained and loves to eat! Sequoia does great with other big dogs her size but she does not do well with cats, small dogs, or small livestock. She has been waiting many months for a chance to be part of a forever family. When you adopt Sequoia, and you're not just getting a pet, you're welcoming a loyal, loving, and intelligent companion into your life! Sequoia has been spayed, microchipped and kept current on vaccines and monthly preventatives.
