The fee is only to donate back to RESCUE ME to help others animals. With that said, Bruce is a loving and sweet dog. The reason for adoption is he is very very protective of my family and kids. However given my profession we have many unannounced visitors to my home and he does do take well to strangers he has not be introduced to or seen around the family.
