About Finn

Please help us by filling out an adoption questionnaire at www.socalweimrescue.org/pages/adopt Finns story is heartbreaking. He was found wandering the streets with huge weighted pipes around his neck during the rainstorm. He was cold and hungry running with a Doberman. We were alerted and immediately put him in foster. He was not chipped and no owner came forward....maybe a blessing in disguise? Oddly the Doberman had a microchip and went home to his family. The Doberman owners did not know Finn and never saw him before. We can only estimate Finn's age to be between 3-5 years old. He has been trusting and very happy to have the pipes removed from his neck. His foster says he likes to snuggle and is exploring his new backyard. He is currently living in the Hemet area in RIVCO. We are getting to know him and will update as we learn more but so far we know he is the typical velcro Weimaraner and LOVES to sleep in his warm crate. He has a natural long thicker tail so we suspect maybe a touch of silver lab in him. He will certainly be a great companion to someone who will be lucky to have him. Finn is being neutered and will be available soon! UPDATE: Finn is a very loyal clingy partner. His foster says he loves to cuddle and sleep in the bed with him. He has been his 'road dog' literally driving to jobs with him. He has found that indoors is the place he wants to be...typical WEIMIE!!! He's getting along with his four legged fosters and the two legged ones too! An all around good boy. We are so baffled at how someone could have mistreated him with all the pipe weights around his neck!
