Dear Team of Rescuers, I am reaching out with an urgent plea to save Bo, a sweet and loving dog who is scheduled for euthanasia tomorrow, March 9th, at 2 PM at Dallas Animal Services. Bo was abandoned by his owner on February 19th for 'personal reasons,' and since then, he has been deteriorating in the shelter. He was a happy, goofy, and healthy boy when he arrived, but the shelter environment has been slowly killing him. He has become heartworm positive while there, and they don't take him for walks or even list him online for adoption. He deserves a second chance. I have been fighting for Bo's life, managing to delay his euthanasia twice. I had found a foster, but she has now ghosted me, and I fear she will not come through. I have contacted over 60 organizations, and Dallas DogRRR suggested that you might be able to help. I am begging you-please, is there anything you can do? I do not live in the U.S., so I cannot foster him myself, but I am fully committed to covering the cost of his heartworm treatment and any medical care he needs. I just need a rescue or a foster to step up so that he can get out of the shelter alive. Bo is a good dog. He is not aggressive, not dangerous-just abandoned and in desperate need of someone to care.
