Meet Stevie Stevie, an approximately 2-year-old border collie/shepherd mix, is ready to thrive in his forever home! He enjoys love and attention, without being overly clingy. He likes to sit nearby and get petted, but isn't one to jump on the couch or bed. Stevie adores playing with balls, chewing on fresh bones, and spending time in the yard with his people. Outside time is his favorite time! This remarkable dog is great in the house, being house-trained and crate-trained. He knows the 'sit' command, and his foster hs working on his recall skills. Stevie navigates neighborhood walks with ease, although he's still learning to remain calm around barky dogs. He gets along great with other dogs, except when toys or bones are involved, and is currently learning to share. Stevie also coexists peacefully with dog-savvy cats, but will chase outside cats, and his foster is teaching him to respect farm animals. Stevie is being fostered in the Lexington/Heppner area of Oregon, is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.
