Meet Steve Steve, a 2-year-old, 47-pound border collie/shepherd mix, is seeking a loving home where he can thrive alongside his people, enjoying quality time and affection. He values personal space, opting to sit beside you rather than on the couch or bed, yet he enjoys receiving love and attention. Steve enjoys playing ball, and with practice, he'll become a skilled fetcher, though he's still mastering the art of dropping the ball. He loves spending time outdoors and Steve is also both house-trained and crate-trained, and has mastered the 'sit' command while working on his recall. While he gets along with other dogs, he can become possessive around toys and bones. Steve lives with dog-savvy cats, though he may chase outdoor cats. His foster is working on teaching him to respect chickens and other farm animals. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $400.
