About Spirit

Spirit is a great name for this boy who has lots of spirit in spite of his background. We are not really sure what he is as he looks airedale terrier from the front and looks golden retriever from the back with long gold hair on his back and body. His hair is more wirey than soft though and he definitely has wire something in him. This 74 pound boy was pulled from a northern Texas shelter where he was not safe at all and his spirits were pretty low. He is a very kind and gentle boy who appears to be pretty well trained by someone. But he also seems like he has suffered abuse as well. He is good with other dogs, both males and females and even smaller dogs. He is good with kids and has a very soft approach, which is great for his size. This guy is just a friendly and loving gem of a dog. He is neutered and fully vaccinated and will come microchipped too. He can be adopted for $250 and he will definitely make you smile everyday!
