About Mocha Latte

This adorable boy is Mocha Latte. He is a 1-year-old shepherd mix and weighs 40 lb. Mocha found himself on a busy highway in Georgia and was rescued by our shelter partner there. He is now at a foster home in CT and ready to find his forever home. His foster says 'Mocha Latte is a sweet, gentle boy. When he first arrived at our home, he was timid and scared, spending the first few days startling at loud noises and trying to hide under the table, in a closet or behind the vacuum. His foster home has 2 parents, 3 kids, another dog, 3 cats and 3 foster kittens so he had no choice but to get used to noise, and after a few days of coaxing him out for 'snuggle practice' he now freely and comfortably roams the house. He still startles at loud noises, but is easily calmed with a hug. Mocha Latte is great with kids, dogs and kittens and tolerates cats (he tried to chase one cat here once, was swatted on the nose and now just ignores her, but he is endlessly entertained by the kittens who love to play with his tail). He walks nicely on a leash both with and without another dog and has excellent table manners. He is also housetrained. Mocha Latte is very soft and VERY snuggly. He will do well with a loving family who is willing to be patient in coaxing him out of his shell.' Mocha Latte is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and healthy. His adoption fee is $400.
