Hazel has one blue and one brown eye, hence Hazel. She's a beautiful mix of Husky and ?. Hazel is sweet and snuggly, she aims to please. Because of her age, (9) she has slowed down: bursts of energy but not much stamina. She doesn't climb fences or dig like a lot of Huskies. She sometimes chases her tail, and tips her head when you talk to her. She's lived in small spaces with daily exercise along with her German Shepherd 'brother.' He passed away from cancer, so she was alone for awhile. I've had her for 2 months due to my son's inability to keep her in his current living situation. She was raised in a family with young children, a German Shepherd and cat until a divorce. I thought she would be happy with my dogs, and was good with them when visiting. However, my 2 Border Collies don't play the same way and are intimidated with her wrestling and play growl. They are fearful and anxious around her. I've decided that she needs a new home. She wants to be by my side at all times and pushes away or blocks my other dogs from getting by me. She needs someone who can enjoy her loving ways, all to herself. She's good on a leash, knows basic commands, loves to go for grooming, rides well in a car or truck-bed, is crate-trained, comes when called, rarely barks but alerts to strangers at the door, responds to verbal discipline, and above all, is eager to please.
