About MAXIE

***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels Meet MAXIE! He is a gorgeous 1.5 year old, 115-lb Akita-Malamute blend who is good with other dogs and kids. We have seen no reaction when he walks past the bunny, so he may be good with cats. MAXIE is currently going in off-leash doggy playgroups and may show dominance to some dogs (I guess that he knows how big he is!), but he can be redirected easily. MAXIE absolutely loves snow and cold weather so we are hoping to show him to families in the Wood River Valley. MAXIE is not destructive in the home, but has been known to chew on shoes and destroy stuffed animals.
