About Kooper

Kooper is a sweet, affectionate, and intelligent pup looking for his perfect forever home! This handsome boy is potty trained and crate trainedhe even puts himself to bed in his crate multiple times a day. Hes a quick learner who is highly food-motivated, making training a breeze! He already knows sit, down, and stay and has made great strides in his leash manners. Hes always ready to greet you with kisses and is happiest cuddled up next to you on the couch. Kooper is great with baths and having his paws handled, making grooming easy. He enjoys treats (though hes still working on taking them more gently), and hes improving every day with polite leash walking. Hes also learning to be less of a beggar at mealtimebut he might still give you those big puppy eyes! Kooper thrives with regular exercise, which helps keep him relaxed and happy. He would do best in a home with older kids and no cats. Kooper prefers a calm, respectful canine companion. He has shown some resource guarding tendencies with food and treats around other dogs, but with proper management (like separate feeding areas), he can coexist peacefully. Hes a bit of a counter-surfer and trash digger, so food needs to be put away (especially bathroom trashKooper finds it way too interesting!). He eats and drinks very quickly, so he needs a slow feeder. Kooper is a loving, eager-to-please boy who would make an amazing companion for the right family. Hes got a lot of love to give, and with continued structure and training, hell be an incredible best friend. If youre looking for a snuggly, goofy, and loyal pup, Kooper might just be your guy!
