About Eleanor

Eleanor is a liver spotted Dalmatian. She's in excellent health and while she still is energetic she doesn't have any of that young dog silliness. I attempted to rescue Eleanor when I had a full family, including another dog. Unfortunately my other dog passed away and my family broke up. She has become quite anxious with only one member of her pack (me). Eleanor does not do well in homes without another dog. Anyone adopting her would need to have at least one other dog. She is tolerant of cats but does not care about them. Dalmatians have a reputation for being aggressive, but Eleanor is a lover not a fighter. She likes to 'play fight' with other dogs, so that can be misread by folks as aggression (she growls with her tail wagging). She has never bitten, or even acted like she was going to bite.
