About Carrie

Carrie is just over one year old. She is 46lbs, up to date on vaccines, spayed and heart worm negative. What a SWEET and FRIENDLY girl! She is playful, affectionate and mannerly. She loves being with dogs in the play groups at the shelter, both large and small, she plays with them all! She is gentle and has NO aggression at all. Carrie is a lab/pointer mix. She enjoys walks, play time, cuddling and is very smart. She is great in the car - and is a silly funny pup! She was discarded like trash when her family moved away and left her to die in the vacant house. Because she would greet the mailman each day for her 'treat', he noticed she wasn't outside for two days. He called the police and luckily they brought her to 'safety'. A shelter is NOT a safe place for abandoned dogs. Due to no space and limited time, these pure souls are callously killed. This sweet girl needs a family... she is young, healthy and loves people!
