My last owner was about to return me to the shelter, where they said I'd be put down by 5 p.m. because I'd been returned too many times. Yeah, rough day. But then Legacy Paws Rescue stepped in, saw my potential, and saved my tail. Turns out, I wasn't a bad dog-I just never had anyone willing to teach me the rules. Now that I have some structure, I'm thriving, and I'm ready to find my real forever home. I have energy for days, a goofy streak a mile wide, and a heart that's ready to love. I need an active human who understands that a tired Eddie is a well-behaved Eddie. If you like adventure, long walks, and a dog who will make you laugh daily, we should probably meet. I've been raised in a home environment, not a kennel, where I've been learning how to be the best family member. I've been socialized with big dogs, exposed to everyday household sounds like vacuums and thunderstorms, and I even do doggie puzzles to keep my brain sharp. I'm learning structure, boundaries, and how to be a well-mannered companion, and I just need the right human to keep me on track.
