Meet Charmie: The Quiet Sweetheart Who's Secretly Hilarious Hi, I'm Charmie. I may start off a little shy, but give me a little time, and I'll be your most loyal, loving, and slightly clingy best friend. I love to observe the world before diving in, but once I decide you're safe, expect full-body snuggles, soft head tilts, and an unreasonable amount of love. But my journey to finding love wasn't easy. I was found in an abandoned home with two mother dogs and two litters of puppies, all struggling to survive. When the police took us in, we ended up in a shelter where survival of the fittest was the only rule. It was a heartbreaking place where dogs like me didn't stand a chance. If Legacy Paws Rescue hadn't stepped in, I wouldn't be here. My siblings and I were sick, scared, and fighting for our lives-but we made it. I'm not just any rescue-I'm part of Legacy Paws Rescue, a mission-driven organization that's here to change the human problem, one dog at a time. We believe that with love, patience, and the right home, dogs like me can blossom into the most loyal and loving companions. I've been raised in a home, not a kennel, where I've been learning how to be the best family member. I've been socialized with big dogs, cats, and kids, introduced to everyday sounds like vacuums and thunderstorms, and even do doggie puzzles to keep my brain sharp. Why I'm Basically Perfect: Calm and Gentle - No chaotic energy here, just soft, snuggly goodness. Shy but Worth It - Give me a little time, and I will love you forever. Dog and Cat Approved - I respect all furry creatures, including the mysterious ones that hiss. Housebreaking and Crate Training in Progress - I'm working hard on my polite puppy skills. Professional Nap Enthusiast - If it involves a cozy spot and belly rubs, I'm in. Loyal for Life - Once I trust you, you will never go to the bathroom alone again.
