There are 3 brothers from a litter that didn't get sold because I fell ill. They need to be able to run and hunt. My other 4 Akitas are laid back. But these three are literally eating the siding off my home. They bring squirrels, birds and any other thing that crosses in the yard. They absolutely love the outdoors. They don't like other dogs, but will ignore them if they submit, but if another animal shows ANY aggression they will dominate. They shy from humans. My issue is that I cemented the base of my fence and they chipped enough away to get out. They love to use cement grout to sharpe their nails. They always come back but it's not fair to them they need to either be separated with someone who is high energy or together with a large area to roam. They do need a good brushing, its that time of year.
