About Luna

Luna is a 4 year old husky/malamute mix. 50% husky, 25% malamute, 25% unknown. She weighs 40 lbs. She is very eager to engage with both people and other dogs. She exhibits resource gaurding behavior around food but is ok with water, toys, etc.She generally plays well with other dogs but can, at times, give unnecessary corrections. She takes direction well and will propmtly adjust her behavior if shown it is inappropriate. Luna finds lots of reward in handler praise and mutual engagement, and at times, finds it more rewarding than playing with other dogs. She can be very feisty and would benefit greatly from a strong leader figure as a handler
