About Freedom

Freedom is a sweet loving boy who has been through a lot. We moved out of an abusive home as a family (my other dog, car, and my toddler) a year ago. He was abused by my ex who drank heavily and he became aggressive when he is afraid and is not quick to trust others. A few weeks ago we had to move out of our rental as our landlords were selling their home and we are now in a rental home . Unfortunately recently he has become aggressive towards my son when he is running or trying to play with him. We had a pet sitter that he loved until he suddenly started growling at her. He only really lets me care for him but he has moments with me where he growls and jumps up on me too, I just ignore his behavior as to not escalate him and he stops. I hate having the post this but he deserves a wonderful home with space to run, someone who is patient and loving towards him. I just cannot risk my sons safety:(. He has come a long way and would do best with an adult female. he also is triggered by the smell of alcohol and cigarettes :(.
