About Callie & Kona

URGENT HELP NEEDED! Video included. With the sudden passing of Kareen, the owner of a dog boarding facility in the high desert, the dogs are in desperate need of rehoming and food. Many of these dogs were dumped by owners and even rescues, but Kareen never gave up on them. She fought to find them loving homes. Now, they have no one but Jorge, her longtime employee, who is doing everything he can to care for them. Please help by donating food, funds, fostering, or adopting so these dogs don't go hungry or forgotten. Two of the dogs are Callie and Kona, a bonded pair. A mother and daughter duo. A few years ago, Callie was dropped off and abandoned at the facility by her owner sadly. Karen later learned Callie was pregnant and eventually gave birth to Kona. Kareen wouldn't take them to the shelter, knowing what their fate would be, so she continued taking such good care of them. I want to honor Kareen by helping find Callie and Kona the amazing home they deserve! Callie and Kona are Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. Current on vaccines and spayed.
