About Rosie

This is Rosie! She belonged to my parents, but they are unable to continue to care for her due to failing health, and we cannot take her in long-term because we already have a dog, and Rosie does not get along with other dogs. She is 11 years old but I believe in pretty good health. She's about 60 lbs and a Border Collie, probably a mix. She has a funny little genetic anomaly where her tail is short and only wags up-and-down, rather than side-to-side. She is very sweet with people and a perfect rider in the car. Rosie is fine in public, but she is dog aggressive in her own territory, and it's unknown how she does with cats. She came to my parents because she was unhappy living with a number of other pets in her original home. She's house trained, though her training might need a little shoring up after living for a long time with people who were unable to get to the door quickly enough for her. She does need regular professional grooming that will require shaving her, as she does not tolerate brushing. I know the right home is out there for her somewhere! Thank you!
