About Sophie

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina Meet Sophie! Beautiful black lab. She just wants to be your one and only (or with a dog who will leave her alone and give her space'|she just wants her human's attention) so that she can get all the belly rubs Sophie came from a rough, undersocialized past and was hours away from euthanasia at the shelter due to her fear, but she has come SUCH a long way and is just the sweetest girl. Her foster mom has had so much fun seeing her personality come to life while fostering her. If you even look at her or say her name, you'll hear the thump of her tail. She'll be your shadow and best friend! Great on leash (unless she spots a squirrel or cat!) and 100% potty trained. She is approximately 3 years old, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She is heartworm positive but is on her way to becoming heartworm free! She is low energy, content to relax or chew on a bone, and quiet!
