About Clark

Clark will be 6 years old at the end of May. He was purchased from a reputable Bluetick Coon Hound breeder when he was about 10 weeks old and has been in the same family ever since. We unfortunately don't have his pedigree papers anymore but he is a purebred. Clark is so beautiful, inside and out. He is the sweetest boy; he loves his cat brother, attention, treats, snuggles and just enjoys being in your presence. He is a true hound and loves to sing! We call him our mousehound because he will sometimes fall asleep sitting up and he looks like a sweet little mouse with his whiskers and long ears!! Clark hasn't had formal training yet and he would benefit from more structure. He is familiar with these commands: 'sit, stay, wait, gentle, go to your room, upstairs.' An ideal household would be a single dog family with a big yard or lots of land who can give him tons of attention. Kids and cats are OK, but he would need time and space to introduce another dog, as he has some anxiety. Clark is currently eating a dry food diet - pedigree nutrition beef or chicken. We will also give him some rice, meat and veggies. He doesn't have any allergies or digestive issues and is NOT picky. Clark currently weighs about 70lbs, which is on the smaller side for his breed. He is not up to date with his shots, but he has a neuter surgery and his shots set for 3/7/25. He is extremely healthy and has never had any health problems! My partner and I are unable to give him the time and attention he needs. We are also in the process of moving and unfortunately cannot take him with us. We are sad to part ways with him but he deserves a nice family to give him unlimited attention and love! We are asking $150 to cover a portion of the neuter surgery and shots.
