About Carl

Hello. My younger sister sadly died 2 weeks ago, very suddenly. She had a wonderful doggie named Carl (which had been our Dad's name) and I looking for assistance in placing Carl in a good home. I reside in a retirement apartment complex and cannot take him. My sister had rescued Carl about 4 years ago. He is a mixed breed, genetic testing showed he is a good part basset hound. 55 pounds, has his shots (I have a copy of the vaccination certificate) and is microchipped. Since he was originally a rescue, his veterinarian had to estimate his age at between 5 and 6 years. He is very good with adults and other dogs, but unknown with children and cats. Neutered. Just a sweet doggie and I am so sad I cannot house him. Besides being so sad at losing my dear sister. He is at a paid sitter in Davenport Florida. I will be glad to arrange his transport.
