About Harvey

Harvey is an incredibly friendly low-key #Shepsky Siberian Husky German Shepherd mix that arrived as a stray on 2/3/25, Harvey was seen roaming around for several days in the #LongBeach area and based on his injuries had a few encounters with some not-so-friendly dogs causing lacerations and bite punctures around his neck, ears, and shoulders While the injuries were somewhat old and had signs of infection, Harvey thankfully will see a good recovery soon... However, his current physical appearance with half his face & neck shaved are preventing any direct adoption interest. The shelter is concerned he may decline at shelter if he has to #WaitItOut for several months before his fur grows back and people no longer find him 'ugly & undesirable' Harvey is available for rescue, adoption, or foster at the shelter.
