My mother in law recently passed, leaving us with Pete, a 13-14 year old JRT. We have two young labs and are having trouble handling three dogs, as my wife and I both work full time. Pete is the definition of a JRT, good and bad. He is loving, but possessive and does not get a long well with some other dogs. I would only recommend him as an only dog. While he has shown some aggression to other dogs, he has not shown aggression towards people or kids, however, because he is older and a JRT, I wouldn't trust him around kids, at least not full time. He is healthy and active, enjoying walks with our labs as much as he likes lying in front of the wood stove. We are not looking to 'offload' Pete, and will take our time to find the best home for him. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about Pete.
