Raisin is a 6-7 year old, Boxer mix. She found herself on death row at a high kill shelter due to lack of space. She entered the shelter with puppies and they were all adopted and/or went to rescues. She was facing a fate no mama dog should. Luckily, a foster stepped up and saved her life! Raisin as been recuperating from the years of stress on her body. She's now been spayed, undergone treatment for heartworms, and is gaining the weight her body has needed for far too long. Raisin requests a forever home with excellent sun exposure, as she LOVES a good cat nap in the sun. Have cats and dogs already? Raisin doesn't care! She's friendly with all (large and small). Raisin is house trained and dog door trained. While she makes an excellent snuggle buddy, she's spry and has pep in her step. She enjoys tug, playing with toys, and taking car rides. She's really quite a turnkey dog for those seeking less work with optimal reward! Raisin is in foster in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/raisin You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
