About Karl

Karl is a 7 year old toy purebred Schnauzer. He came to us from a breeder who highly neglected him, and never took the time to socialize him with other people so he tends to be a bit intense and fearful around people. He doesn't know. He is very sweet with the person that he chooses as his own, but can be very protective of that person and bark a lot at other people. If approached too quickly, and if he feels threatened, he can nip at the person. The best home for Karl would be in a house with a fenced in yard since he is not a fan of walking on a leash. He is crate trained, and fully potty trained, and typically will not have accidents in the house. Karl would need to be adopted locally in Miami Dade or Broward county in Florida as he would need to be fostered before finalizing an adoption to ensure that the home is a good fit for him.
