Hemlock is a 3 year old Cane Corso. She came into Fulton County Animal Shelter after being found lost in the woods. Her owner was located but left her to the shelter's care. So it is no mystery why this 3 year-old baby girl was so depressed when she made it to rescue. Her people had failed her in every way. Her eyes had been left untreated for something routine that became very painful, and by the time she was abandoned, one eye was ruptured and the other eye was blind. We cannot imagine what this baby suffered walking around in the woods unable to see anything. The good news is that Hemlock now has hope. She has us and her new parents are out there just waiting to meet her and show her what life is SUPPOSED to be! Hemock is the sweetest dog. She's calm and gentle, and she loves music! She will 'sing' along with you! Our vet partners and her foster have ensured that she received everything she needs to live a full and happy life with her new forever family. She weighs 76 lbs, is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines and preventatives. The Cane Corso is known for strength and loyalty. She has already proven that she is strong-surviving some of the worst treatment we've seen! She's ready to give her loyalty to REAL dog parents now. Is that you?
