Shiva is a small (35-40 lbs) 3 year old gorgeous Aussie mix rescue. She is a very sweet, very smart girl but is extremely timid with new people and very afraid of men in particular. We have been fostering her for a few weeks and have put some weight on her, got her caught up on most of her vaccines, de-flead and de-wormed her, and have been working on her glow-up. She is very attached to me already, so I have no concerns about her bonding to another women, but definitely she needs to either go to a home without men or with a gentle-natured, dog loving man that is patient enough to win her over and willing to wait as long as it takes. As far as I know she is good with children, but because of how timid she is I think a home without them would be best. She has been good with our cats and other dogs, but isn't afraid to spar for dominance and is very demanding with attention, so she would probably do best as an only dog. After being an outside dog for most of her life we are working on potty training and crate training, but she is doing awesome. She is a very smart, very loyal girl who deserves an amazing forever home where she can blossom. Shiva's adoption fee is $75, just to cover some of what we have in her care. She will go home with her leash, collar, and whatever else she has here to help her transition. Text/email to setup a time to talk, please! :)
