About Remi

This beautiful boy is Remi. He is a 2 years old Australian Cattle Dog who weighs about 35 Pounds. Remi is very smart and already knows: Sit, down, stay, off, wait, place, come, heel, and back up (when playing fetch). He is house and crate trained. Remi is the usual Cattle Dog, good with people after a polite introduction. He can be submissive when meeting men, rolling on his back. He isn't a fan of kids. For his people, he is goofy, loyal, and adventurous. Remi is good with most dogs in groups settings and does prefer smaller dogs. He does have a few dog buddies he plays with a few times a week. He just isn't a dog park guy. He is also a bit protective of food when other dogs are around. Fetching is Remi's favorite activity and we call it his job. After his morning job, he will nap from 8-1 pm, his second favorite activity. Remi is good on leash and good in the car after exercise. Prior to exercise, he can be excited in the car. Remi is a wonderful best pal for someone in a quieter home. If you cry, he will lick your tears away. If you're sick, he will have his head on your lap the entire time. He's an absolute velcro dog and loves to be involved in whatever you're doing.He only needs a home due to an ill family member. Remi is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. He is located in Oceanside, CA, and ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
