We have a female Rottweiller mix we need to rehome. She looks like mostly like a Rottweiller but is no a pure bred. She is a very sweet dog to adults and older children. When it comes to other animals, she tends to have aggressive behaviors. We have a large Akita and they get along great for the most part (the Akita is almost 13 now), but we also have a smaller dog and they do not get along and will fight. She is not good around other animals especially cats. When a cat tries to run, she will chase after it. A little background on Honey. My son got her when he was around 18. She was abused by the previous owners and he took her thinking he was saving her. He moved out of the house and left the dog with us. Things were going ok but she decided to get aggressive with our smaller dog. We now keep them separated and have been for a few years now. The smaller dog is older and grouchy so they do not get along. She needs a place where she can have someone spend time with her. Like I said, she is a sweet dog and would be a great companion for someone older willing to give her their time. My daughter took her for a while and that went well but she decided to go to college so she came back with us. My son isn't responsible enough or doesn't care what happens to her now, but my wife and I, we know she is a good dog and would like to find someone that could take her and give her the attention she deserves. She doesn't make messes in the house and if she needs to go, she will bark and let you know. She doesn't chew on furniture or anything but she loves her toys. We have a stuffed animal we call a 'Cheesy' that squeaks. She will play with that, and play fetch with it. Not sure about balls though since she has mostly been an inside dog. She does use a crate sometimes and does well with it. We tell her to go to jail and she goes right to the kennel. If you have any questions, please let us know. Hopefully I can get some pictures uploaded.
