I tried reaching out to family and close friends to see about a new home for this guy, but I have to branch out a little bit. This is Sirius, he is a 7 year old, intact GSD. I kept him intact only because I wanted him to reach his full growth potential and to reduce the likelihood of having joint issues as an adult. He is crate trained and house trained. He has grown up with cats and kids and did have another canine companion but she passed due to old age. He is reactive to other dogs, but not aggressive. I am only considering rehoming him because up until the last year, he has had someone home with him all day and had a yard to run around in. My living situation is not well suited for him and his needs. I am gone all day now and we live in a smaller home with no yard. I am not in a huge hurry to rehome him as I want to find a really great family for him. He is a big shepherd, his ideal weight (lean pet-weight) being between 90-95lbs per his vet's recommendation. He would come with his kennel, a basket of toys, a bag of food, and any extras I have for him. He does need to be crated at night and when he is alone otherwise he will get into things. I can provide much more detail if anyone is interested. I just want to find him a home that can give him all the love and attention he deserves.
