About Dixie

This adorable little gal is Dixie! She is a 7year old female terrier mix. Dixie is looking for a special home with patient humans. Dixie has high anxiety and is very skittish. She'll growl and show her teeth when she's scared so a calmer home is preferred. She will bit if she is continually pushed so a home with no small kids is a must. Despite this, she is a super sweet dog who craves human love. Although Dixie tolerates the other dogs in her foster home, she would prefer to be an only dog so she can have all the attention. She desperately wants to be snuggled and feel secure. Dixie would be the perfect companion in a quiet, adult-only home. DIXIE'S ADOPTION FEE IS SPONSORED FOR THE RIGHT APPLICANT!! Dixie is spayed, current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and is kept on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
