LIM JIM is currently stuck in the kill shelter system in Arkansas and is really hoping to be able to catch a ride with Mutt Life Dog Rescue to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 15th (3/15/25). He NEEDS a FOSTER or an ADOPTER to be able to secure his spot on the transport van. He was very skinny and malnourished when he was found and has been working on gaining weight and growing big and strong. He was facing death row and was on the euthanasia list until a rescue group tagged him and placed him in a foster home. He is a happy and optimistic little guy who gets along great with his foster siblings including cats, dogs, and kids. He is working on potty training, crate training, and all of the normal puppy stuff. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. '3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure.
