About Huxley

This adorable guy is HUXLEY and he's a little beefcake! He was born at the end of November and already weighs 30 pounds so he's going to be a big boy (85+) when he's fully grown. He's a big mush and we think he's a Lab & Mastiff mix with possibly some Black Cur and Pittie thrown in. We'll be doing a DNA test so will know for sure soon. This dapper young gentleman is one big sweetheart! One of the calmest puppies you will every meet. He loves cuddling, flopping around with his big paws and taking all the naps. He also loves his food and will carry around his food bowl waiting for his next meal! :) He's living with a wonderful foster family now and they are teaching him everything he needs to know to be the best boy ever. His Foster Mom shared: 'Hux is such a good boy!! We are really amazed at how calm he is! Of course, he can play like a puppy but he doesn't bark, he flops around to play, hasn't chewed, just an amazing puppy already! And smart pants is doing really good going outside to potty and will be housebroken in no time. He loves playing with other dogs and chasing after them but he gets tired quickly and needs another nap! He's not quite sure of this 'going for a walk' thing and will flop down letting you know he's done. He'd much prefer to stay inside and cuddle!' We're looking for a wonderful Adopter for Hux who want a big dog! Due to his larger size, we think families with children over 6 years old who know how to be respectful to puppies are preferred.
