About Yuki

My name is Yuki. I am a 90 lb, 2 year old Great Pyrenees. I was rescued off the streets and was happy to be saved. I was underweight, my ears were infected and I was pretty dirty! Now I am basically back to what I should be... clean for one, putting on some much needed weight and happy to be in a home. I live with other large dogs both male and female. I am playful and friendly. Given my breed, it is not abnormal for me to be a bit food protective (just with the other dogs). I like to romp in the yard and even play some fetch. I just started practicing my leash walking. When some cars get close and whizz by, I get a little nervous but overall, I am going to be a nice leisurely walking companion. I have been around children 8+ and do well with them. I like them! Cats - we have no idea. My family needs to have a few things for me to thrive. 1) A single family home 2) A fenced in yard 3) Pyr or guardian breed experience is a plus and 4) be home more than away! I am much happier when my humans are with me. When my current humans aren't, I do settle but if you are away all day... I might be sad.
